Cable Leagues by FarDareisMai Cable Leagues by FarDareisMai
Another tweak of ~jaskij's piece:

Apo/Chaotica.

This is technically two renders layered (hence the manips category). The only difference between them is the gamma; no moved transforms or anything like that. You can see the untouched renders here: [link] [link]

Ooh, layers. Neat idea. Can I steal it? I can see myself tweaking transform weights and colors to make different layers, then going nuts with them in Photoshop, trying out different blending modes. Of course, that would double, triple or quadruple my rendering time per finished image...Maybe I should just get that new computer I've been considering.

This is gorgeous, by the way. Blue and orange/yellow is one of my absolute favorite color schemes, and I love all those little angular fibrous things.

I am glad you like it! Go ahead and experiment with the layers thing, it's not really "my" trick. :)

Very impressive work, I really like the colours near of traditional painting.
Thank you for the details about the making of the picture, I only start with fractals and I did not imagine that gamma change could have such dramatic effect.

Part of the reason for the dramatic difference is that one gamma is VERY high and the other is VERY low. :lmao:

I am glad you like it!
