Fractal Intestines by FarDareisMai Fractal Intestines by FarDareisMai
Oooh, where to start...

First, I apologize for the .jpg artifacts in the top portion... stupid technical difficulties.

The tip-off to look in Talis and Friends came from =Beesknees67, and the knowledge to find what I was looking for came from exploring one of =misterxz's formulas. Without having these pieces for me to put together, this tutorial would not have been possible, so thanks guys.

Also, if you make a fractal using this technique, please link back so others can also use the tutorial.

Oh, and I should probably mention that this is for Ultra Fractal, if that wasn't already ridiculously obvious. :lmao:

And last but not least, the params for my examples:

You should be able to just copy the params, right-click the image in UF and select "paste" and it will load the new ones. If this doesn't work then i'd have to upload a .ufr for you.

This has really opened my eyes about inside colouring.. I have a lot of experimentation to do! (although I should probably study for my exam) :D

I used your tutorial for all the pieces of fractal art I've upload so far. As soon as I figure out how to link to a source I'll do so. Thank you for this wonderful tutorial, I've had so much fun with it over the past couple of weeks and feel I've learned so much.

I actually sometimes use this technique on fractals without any inside. If you set the bailout value high enough, and the iterations low enough, than you can do this to virtually any formula.

Fabulous tutorial! I am having a ball trying this out! I had no clue that fewer iterations could give such neat looking details. I always thought you had to use more. Shows you what I know.
