Hi Far DareisMai.

I will critique this work.

I think this is one of the most original, and good, works You have done!
I also think, those other works of Yours, that I have placed with my favourites, are done using an unusually good eye, for balance and exactness of colour.

Here, You don't use colour.
And, still, this piece of art, is the one I react before, more than anything else, by You.

Why?

Because, this piece of Yours, is more 'unique'.
I see You falling in that same 'trap' as I myself do, and all the time; trying to 'think my art', that 'thinking' blocking my (Your) other, more freely working 'rivers of inspiration'.

Yes, these other rivers may lead to really poor results, and I guess they often do.
But, at times, they don't. And, when they don't, the result may be a piece of art more unique, and as such, much worth.

If You were to put colours to this work of Yours, also avoiding Your 'normal palette' of beige, blacks and browns, what would this piece then look like?

If You were to use Your good eye for colour, and use it on a palette consisting only of reds, yellows, blues, oranges, and greens; how would this piece of art look, then?

Yes, I am fond of what I see You doing, also Your 'mainstream' works. This here work, however, stand out much more. Painted to an entirely different palette than that You usually use, it would still be possibly at least as good.

When You use this new palette, try fool Yourself. to becoming more 'at home' with these new 'animals' (colours). Tell Yourself You have been using these new colours, and 'all the time'. Tell Yourself not to think, of where to place them.

Why?
Because You know that, anyhow!

Thank You for a beautiful piece of art!

L
